Internal research tool
VUST Search Research
Last updated: 2026-08-16
VUST Search Research is an internal operator tool used only to understand demand for VUST's own website, landing pages, and potential Google Search advertising campaigns. It is not offered to clients or other Google users.
Purpose and audience
The tool helps the VUST operator research search queries, improve existing VUST pages, and decide whether a distinct landing page is useful. Its intended audience is the VUST operator. It does not create Google Ads accounts, manage third-party accounts, or provide campaign-management services to customers.
Google access requested
webmasters.readonly— list verified VUST Search Console properties and read aggregated Search Analytics dimensions and metrics, including query, page, country, device, clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position.adwords— use the Google Ads API for keyword-planning and reporting research for VUST's own account, including keyword ideas and historical search metrics when the account's API access permits it.
The OAuth scope name does not change the tool's bounded purpose. VUST Search Research does not create, edit, enable, pause, or delete campaigns, ads, budgets, billing settings, or user access.
Data use and sharing
- Google data is used only for VUST's own search-demand, landing-page, reporting, and potential campaign planning.
- The tool does not request Gmail, Drive, Contacts, payment-card, or unrelated Google Account data.
- OAuth credentials are restricted to the VUST operator and are not published in the website or source repository.
- Google user data is not sold, shared with data brokers, or made available to VUST customers.
- Aggregate findings may be recorded in internal research documentation without publishing OAuth credentials.
Retention, revocation, and deletion
OAuth credentials are retained only while the internal research integration is in use. Aggregate research exports may be retained for longitudinal comparison, auditability, and landing-page decisions. VUST does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period for those aggregate artifacts.
The account owner can revoke access at any time in Google Account permissions. For a manual credential or associated-data deletion request, contact @vustbot. Records required for security, abuse prevention, or legal obligations may be retained where applicable.
Policies and contact
VUST's general data-handling terms are described in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Questions about this tool can be sent to @vustbot.
Google, Google Ads, and Google Search Console are third-party technology services. API access does not imply that Google sponsors, endorses, or operates VUST Search Research.
