Private Journal
The Journal That Lives Where You Already Type.
No new app, no account screen — just Telegram. Write free-text entries any time, free and unlimited, with an optional mood tag. Ask for /insight when you want a weekly-shaped AI reflection over your last 7 days. /forget deletes everything, for real.
Honest scope
Not therapy, and not a habit-tracker with charts
@vustJournalBot never diagnoses, predicts, or claims to replace a mental-health professional — every /insight ends with a plain disclaimer, and anything crisis-shaped gets pointed toward real help instead of an AI attempt at handling it. It also doesn't try to be Daylio: no streak gamification, no mood-trend charts. It's a quiet place to type, with an AI reflection you ask for rather than one that's always talking back.
See the difference
Free-text entries any time, an AI reflection only when you ask.
Who the journal actually fits
- Daily typers
- Already texting all day and wanting one more place to log a day, not a new app
- Free-text entries any time in Telegram — free and unlimited, zero AI cost per entry, optional mood tag.
- Weekly reflectors
- Wanting a pattern read back after a real week, not a daily nudge
- /insight reads the last 7 days (min 3 entries) and reflects back themes — first one free; after that each insight is $0.15, charged when you send the command.
- Privacy-first journalers
- Wanting a genuine way out, not a buried settings toggle
- /forget hard-deletes every entry ever written — one command, no export flow to complete first.
How the journal actually works
- 01
Write, any time
Plain Telegram messages up to 4000 chars become entries. A rotating templated ack replies — not an AI call, zero cost.
- 02
Tag a mood, optionally
An inline [😊][😐][😞] row follows each entry. Tap one or skip it; it's a tag, not a requirement.
- 03
Ask for /insight when ready
Needs 3+ entries in the last 7 days — fewer gets an honest 'not enough yet', no charge. First insight free; after that $0.15, charged the moment you send /insight with no separate confirm step, and refunded on any generation or delivery failure.
Start typing — it's already free
Open @vustJournalBot and send your first entry as a plain message. Ask for /insight after a real week logged.
Honest scope — journaling and us
Not therapy
Every /insight closes with a plain disclaimer: reflection aid, not diagnosis, not medical advice. Crisis-shaped entries get pointed toward real professional help, never handled by the AI alone.
Not a habit-chart app
No streak gamification, no mood-trend charts — that's a deliberately different product shape than Daylio-style trackers.
/forget is real
A genuine bulk-delete against storage, not a soft flag — every entry gone in one command.
Frequently asked questions
Is journaling in @vustJournalBot really free?
Yes — writing entries is free, with no cap on how many you send per day and no daily allowance to run out. The one bound is per entry: 4000 characters, and anything longer is honestly rejected with a request to split it, never silently truncated. There's zero AI cost per entry: the acknowledgment is a rotating templated reply, not a model call. The only paid action is /insight after your first free one.
What does /insight actually do?
It looks at your journal entries from the last 7 days and asks an AI model to reflect back a pattern — moods, recurring themes, what seemed to help. You need at least 3 entries in that window; fewer gets an honest 'not enough entries yet' message and nothing is charged. Your first insight ever is free; each later one is $0.15 — stated up front and charged the moment you send /insight, with no separate confirmation step, and refunded if the reflection can't be built or delivered.
Is this therapy or medical advice?
No, and every insight says so explicitly. It's a reflection aid — it never diagnoses, predicts, or claims to replace a mental-health professional. If an entry suggests a crisis, the response points toward a professional or a crisis line rather than attempting to handle it.
What happens to my entries — can I really delete them?
/forget hard-deletes every entry you've ever written, in one command. It's a real bulk delete against the underlying storage, not a hide-and-keep — no entry text survives it. What isn't an entry stays: the internal marker recording that you already used your one free insight is billing state, not journal history.
Why journal in Telegram instead of a dedicated app?
Because you're probably already texting in it all day — there's no separate app to remember to open, no new login. The trade-off is honest: this isn't a polished journaling app with charts and streak badges, it's a chat you type into when something happens.
How is this different from a mood-tracker app like Daylio?
Daylio is icon-tap first — you select moods and activities from a grid, with strong charts and streak gamification. @vustJournalBot is free-text first: you write what happened in your own words, and AI reflection only runs when you ask for /insight. See our Daylio comparison for the full picture — check Daylio's current pricing for their side.
Ready when you are
Journal where you already type. Reflect only when you ask.
Free-text entries cost nothing, forever. The AI speaks up once a week, on request — and /forget means you can always walk away clean.
