Sound familiar

A video takes an hour to watch when you need one point from it

Hunting for one quote

The speaker gave a number somewhere around minute forty. You scrub back and forth when a text search would find it in a second.

One hour of video, one evening of typing

Transcribing an hour-long stream by hand takes three to four hours of headphones and pausing every ten seconds.

The recap is due tomorrow

A ninety-minute call recording sits in the cloud, and the team wants it short: what was decided and who owns what.

Example result

What comes back for a video

How it works

Three steps in Telegram, no website or signup

  1. 01

    Send the video

Forward the file to the bot or paste a YouTube, VK Video, Rutube or cloud-drive link.

  2. 02

    Speech is recognised

The language is detected automatically. Lines are split by speaker and timestamped.

  3. 03

Get the text and the recap

A short recording comes back as text in the chat, a long one as a file, with the summary and action items on top.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I turn a video into text?

Send the video to @vustScribeBot in Telegram or paste a link to it. You get the full transcript with timestamps and speakers, a short summary and a list of action items.

Can I transcribe a video from a link?

Yes. Paste a YouTube, VK Video, Rutube, Google Drive or Yandex Disk link. Videos up to 2 GB by link, up to 20 MB sent straight into the chat.

Which video formats work?

MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV and Telegram video notes. If the video plays on your phone, it will work.

What language is the transcript in?

The language spoken in the video. Scribe detects it on its own.

Will I see who said what?

Yes. The transcript marks each speaker and the time of every line, so you can jump to the moment in the video.

How much does it cost?

A short recording is free on the shared VUST trial. Speakers and timestamps come with a plan; the breakdown with decisions and action items comes with the higher plans. One plan covers every bot in the ecosystem; plans are on the pricing page.

Ready when you are

Send the video — the text comes back in the same chat.
